WEDDING & EVENT CHILDCARE:
Uniformed Staff (ALL DBS checked) A minimum of 3 staff at every creche
Age appropriate toys and craft activities
We require a designated room away from the main event with access to toilets
We are exempt from registering with Ofsted but we comply with all their regulations regarding ratios and safeguarding.
As this is an environment that is unfamiliar to the children and they aren't familiar with the staff we tend to have a higher ratio, especially if the children are younger.
We have a strict signing in and out system for all of our members of staff, children and visitors, ensuring that we know who is entering and exiting our crèche at all times.
It is therefore essential that venue staff are made aware not to enter the crèche area without informing crèche staff.
Each Creche has a “red” evacuation bag and policy file, a designated supervisor and first aider
A member of staff from Savernake Nannies will do a site visit prior to the event enabling us to compete risk assessments. We liaise directly with the venue to ensure public liability and health and safety requirements are all met. We discuss with the client/venue their requirements. On the day we transform the room into a safe and fun environment for children aged 3 months – 10 years.
We can provide childcare for min 3 hours to max 6 hours.
Parents can contact us separately if they require an evening wedding babysitter
The activity corner is set up in the same room as the wedding/event. Parents retain full responsibility for their children. We provide age appropriate toys and activities. This service is proving popular because the children are still involved with the event but have an area to go where " fun things" are provided. 2 uniformed staff are in attendance
One nanny per family will come to the venue and help look after the children during the day. They can either attend the wedding or look after the children at the venue away from the event ( an area to be organised by the parents)
EVENING WEDDING BABYSITTER:
One nanny per family.
ALL babysitters stay in the children's room.
The nanny can collect the children from the wedding and take them up to their room, carry out the bath and bed routine and stay with them until the parents return
If local then the nanny can collect from the venue and take them to their family home and babysit until the parents return home
