Week end Nanny


Area: Gloucestershire (7 minute drive to Kingham Station)

Salary: Depending on experience

Children: 4 children

Girl - 14 years old, full time boarder

Boy - 12 year old, weekly boarder

Boy - 8 years old, weekly boarder

Boy - 3 years old attends nursery very close by.

Contract length: Permanent

Days: Preferably 5 days a week Thursday to Monday. (could do Friday 1pm to Monday 1pm for the right candidate.)

Start Date: Immediately.

Notes: The family have a full-time, live-in, nanny/housekeeper (non-driver) who works Monday - Friday between their London and Cotswolds homes. The family also have a live-in couple in the Cotswolds for housekeeping, laundry and some childcare five days a week. The toddler is the only one at home Monday to Friday.

This family require somebody who is confident, organised and happy to work within a team. The candidate must be able to travel and may be asked to travel with the family on main holidays by prior arrangement/agreement.


You must be a confident driver with a clean driving licence and happy to help with school runs. You will be given use of a car whilst you are working.

Basic cooking and helping with preparation of meals for the children.

Bath-time and bedtime duties.

Supervising and helping with homework and reading.

Organising/accompanying play dates and activities..

Weekend clubs/sports fixtures if necessary.

Liaising with schools/friends/dentists and the family’s PA if required on occasion.

Baby monitor at night although the toddler sleeps through.

Full, sole charge when family travel without the children for short periods (this will be shared with the existing nanny).

Tidying and organising children’s rooms and sharing the children’s laundry duties with existing nanny/housekeeper.

Accommodation: Own bedroom, bathroom and living area within the main house on a separate floor with access to own sky box and good wifi.

Hours: 8am -11am 3pm/3.30pm (TBC) - 6.30pm With the possibility of more hours in the school holidays and earlier starts on days where both parents are working in London

Start Date: January 4th 2021 ( ideally with a trial week w/c 14th December 2020)

Duties: Assist with breakfast and school run. General housekeeping: consisting of ,but not limited to cleaning the kitchen, bathrooms, hoovering, polishing, changing bedding, laundry and batch cooking. Occasional errands. Evening school run, prepare cooked evening meal, take to after school activities and playdates

Notes: This family require a driver ,with own car, mainly for the after school activities as the school is within walking distance. The family currently do not have any pets. Ad Hoc babysitting would be available. A covid -19 risk assessment will be in place alongside the private home risk assessment

Covid notes: A Covid -19 risk assessment will be in place. The family have been very carefully locked down and are looking for someone who has no other contact with other children, especially children at school

Duties: To assist the Mother with childcare and light housework

Notes: This family are moving from London and require an extra pair of hands to help settle into their new home, along with some alterations to the house and require somebody to muck in. Confident driver is a must as school runs and baby/toddler classes to attend. Ideally somebody with their own car. Some babysitting will be required. This family are happy for somebody who is moving over to nannying from a nursery practitioner role.
